Heartland Communications radio Group in Ashland Wisconsin is proud to host the 2nd Annual BAY AREA BATTLE OF THE BANDS on Saturday July 17, 2010 at Bay View Park in Ashland Wisconsin. This Battle of the Bands will be held in conjunction with the big Bay Days Festival in Ashland. Send us a demo CD recording of your band to enter the Battle of the Bands. We have a panel of judges selected to choose what they feel are the top 6 bands for this competition. We are limiting it to 6 for the first year. WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE $6000.00 IN PRIZE MONEY WITH $3,000 TO THE WINNING BAND AT THIS COMPETITION! We will pay down all 6 places. The deadline for us receiving the CD will be April 30, 2010. Please send us the CD along with all your contact information as we will be choosing the band and letting everyone know on May 14th. Download and print the contact information sheet here. We have the sound system and stage. So just bring you instruments and drums. Each Band will play a 45 minute set.
